As the largest and longest running non-profit music school in the region, we  provide the highest quality education and are now working with more students than ever before. However, all of those budding musicians put a lot of wear and tear on the instruments that we provide for lessons – especially the pianos. A quality instrument can inspire a student and set them on a lifelong musical journey, but there's nothing more frustrating than playing on an out-of-tune clunker. Would you like to give our students the opportunity to learn and practice on the finest instruments available?

VMA has partered with Whitesel Music in Harrisonburg to replace the aging pianos in our teaching studio with state of the art Yamaha Clavinova digital pianos, and with your support we will upgrade one key at a time. Besides sounding great and being an absolute pleasure to play, this investment will save money in the long term since we will no longer need to pay for piano tuning services.
