Learn to sightread, count and play rhythms quickly through this mathematically-based visual training course. The course is suitable for instrumentalist with at least one year of training on their instrument. The sightreading method has been used by colleges and high schools for almost fifty years, and is a proven method that really works. At the end of this four day course you will understand how to count and play rhythms both when practicing and when playing in an ensemble.
For the workshop please bring a bag lunch and your instrument.
Cost of workshop is $65, includes rhythm book which is yours to keep.
The course will be taught by Bob Moody, director of the Stonewall Brigade Band who has over 40 years of teaching and directing experience in the area.
