BUILDING COMMUNITY THROUGH A LIFETIME OF MUSIC EDUCATION
VMA CORONAVIRUS UPDATE
Valley Music Academy is currently offering online and in-person lessons for most instruments. Please click here for an updated list of instruments offered online and/or in-person.
For the safety of our students, teachers, and staff:
VMA will follow all mandates by the Commonwealth of Virginia for in-person lessons.
All persons entering the building will be required to wear a facemask, agree to a temperature scan, and sign-in affirming they are in compliance with state health requirements.
Students are asked to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before each lesson.
All VMA instruments that are used are sanitized after each use and will not be shared between teachers and students during the lesson.
Air purifying systems with HEPA and UV light are being placed in each room.
The waiting area is currently closed, however, an adult is welcome to attend the lesson with the student. The accompanying adult must follow the entrance requirements listed above and wear a mask while in the building.
VMA is currently accepting registrations for new student lessons online AND in-person (click here or the red button below). Current students will be notified by their teachers when in-person lessons become available.
The VMA administrative office is currently closed and staff working remotely. Calls and emails are now being forwarded and every effort to respond in a timely manner is being made. Please send us a message for the quickest response.
