GROUP CLASS POLICY

• VMA reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meeting the required enrollment minimums.

• Tuition for classes that are cancelled by VMA will be refunded by check.

• Students withdrawing from the class prior to the start of the semester classes will receive a tuition refund.

• No refunds will be issued for students withdrawing from the program after the first class is held.

• No refunds for materials will be issued.

• Your child’s age is not the only criteria for class placement.  The instructors are trained to recognize developmental traits and comfort levels in children. Please know that we will always place your child in the most appropriate class for him/her, provided the class is not full. 

• Please do not bring food, drink or toys to class.

• Registration and payment are done online at ValleyMusicAcademy.org. Contact Programs@valleymusicacademy.org if you would like to prepay by check.

VMA PHOTO POLICY

• Valley Music Academy may use unnamed photographs, videos or portraits of students, participants or attendees of classes, recitals, programs or other events, and any parts, reproductions or likeness thereof in any form for promotional use online or in printed materials.

 

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

• Financial Aid in the form of need based scholarships may be available to students.

• Students awarded scholarships must demonstrate consistent progress, attend all scheduled classes and keep all account balances current. 

• Scholarship amounts are based on funding available to VMA and is subject to change.

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS AND OTHER TEACHER CANCELLATIONS

• VMA does not announce weather closures for the whole school. Your teacher will communicate with you if your class is cancelled. Be sure to check your email before heading out in inclement weather.

• A make-up class will be scheduled for any group class cancelled by the teacher.
