VMA is offering a 6-week beginning rock band class for students age 12-18 this summer. This 6 week class will help guide young musicians in the art of playing with other musicians and different instruments.
Like Victor Borge said, "each of them may be an artist in their own right, but they have trouble when they come together."
Learning to play as a band takes time and effort. This 6-week class will be a great opportunity for young musicians to begin to develop the skills of playing with other musicians.
The class is open to students with a minimum of two years of instruction on their instrument. Instruments accepted in this class are keyboard, guitar, bass guitar, drums, brass and woodwind instruments.
VMA reserves the right to cancel the class if enrollment or instrumentation requirements are not met. A full refund will be given if VMA cancels the class. No refunds will be given for cancellations after the first class. No refunds or partial refunds will be issued for student absences. Any class canceled due to weather or teacher absence will added to the following Sunday.
